🌆 Return to the World of Zootopia

The city of Zootopia was one of Disney’s most detailed animated worlds, divided into unique districts like Tundratown, Sahara Square, and Bunnyburrow.

Zootopia 2 promises to expand that world, introducing new ecosystems and animal societies, each with its own rules, climate, and charm. The film’s creators have hinted at stunning new animation technology that will make the city more vibrant and realistic than ever before.

🎥 Production and Studio Details

The movie is being developed by Walt Disney Animation Studios, the same team behind the original Zootopia, Frozen, and Encanto.

Byron Howard and Rich Moore, who directed the first film, are expected to return — although Disney has not made it official yet. Production reportedly began quietly in 2023, with early animation tests and storyboards now complete.
